Ohio State University found itself mailing out 18,000 letters over the holidays informing some of their students that their names and social security numbers could have fallen into the wrong hands. Not exactly what I want to hear after the holidays.

Washington State announced today, Friday October 31, that 400 passport applications may have been breached. This means that those 400 people have been left open to identity theft. So far 383 people have been notified about the identity theft. Not all of the 383 have been victims of identity theft ...
